The Rebel Reef:
seeds of hope
A short documentary written and directed by Brynne Rardin.
After surviving a near-death experience, the sole divemaster in a Honduran beach town devotes himself to a mysteriously thriving reef -- awakening questions about nature, healing, and the limits of both.
The film had its world premiere in Oakland, California at Hidden Compass and has been selected for multiple festivals including Environmental Film Festival in the Nation's Capital. It will continue its festival run through December of 2026.
